1. About LoraMer

LoraMer is a business intelligence platform built by Cote Media that helps marketing agencies and businesses analyze advertising and ecommerce performance data. LoraMer connects to platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, and Shopify to surface insights and recommendations powered by Claude AI (Anthropic).

This privacy policy applies to both loramer.com (this site, where you can join our waitlist) and the LoraMer application itself.

2. Waitlist Sign-ups (loramer.com)

When you join our waitlist by submitting your email on loramer.com, we collect:

  • The email address you provide
  • The timestamp of your submission
  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser type) maintained by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security purposes

Your email is stored in Mailchimp, our email service provider, who acts as a data processor on our behalf. By submitting your email, you consent to receive occasional updates about LoraMer's progress and launch. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time. Mailchimp's own privacy policy governs how they handle data on our behalf.

We do not use waitlist emails for any purpose other than direct communications about LoraMer. We don't sell, share, or rent waitlist emails to any third party.

3. Data the LoraMer App Accesses

Once you sign up for LoraMer and connect platforms, we access data solely to provide analytics and intelligence:

Google Ads

Campaign performance metrics (spend, clicks, impressions, conversions), ad group and keyword data, conversion action names and counts, and bid strategy settings. We do not access individual user data, search queries, or personal information of your customers.

Meta Ads

Campaign, ad set, and ad performance metrics, audience targeting configurations (aggregate only), placement breakdowns, and creative performance data. We do not access personal data of individuals who saw or interacted with your ads.

Google Analytics 4

Session, traffic source, conversion, e-commerce, and engagement metrics aggregated at the property level. We do not access individual user identifiers, IP addresses of your visitors, or any personally identifiable information about your customers.

Shopify

Order totals and counts, product names and revenue, customer counts (new vs. returning), abandoned checkout counts (no PII), and order line items for product performance analysis. We access the minimum data required to provide store performance analytics. We do not access payment card information, customer passwords, or personal contact details beyond what is necessary for aggregate analytics.

Uploaded business documents

When you upload documents (PDF, Word, CSV) to give LoraMer richer context about your business — brand guidelines, sales pipelines, LTV data, margin sheets, persona docs — that content is stored securely and used only to provide more accurate analysis to your account. You can delete uploaded documents at any time.

4. How We Use Data

We use the data described above exclusively to:

  • Display performance dashboards and analytics within the LoraMer platform
  • Generate AI-powered insights and recommendations using Anthropic's Claude AI
  • Identify performance trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
  • Enable cross-platform analysis (e.g. reconciling Google Analytics revenue against Shopify revenue)
  • Send waitlist updates and product launch communications via email (for loramer.com subscribers)

We do not sell, share, or use your data for any purpose other than providing LoraMer's services to you. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not run advertisements based on your data.

LoraMer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Storage and Retention

LoraMer stores data in our secure database (Supabase, hosted on AWS):

  • Waitlist emails — stored in Mailchimp until you unsubscribe
  • Client profiles and notes — stored until you delete the client or your account
  • Platform connection tokens — stored until you disconnect the platform or uninstall the app
  • Cached analytics data — cached for up to 15 minutes to reduce API calls, then refreshed
  • Claude conversation history — stored per client to improve future analysis; deleted when you clear conversations or delete the client
  • Uploaded documents — stored until you delete them or your account

Upon uninstallation of the Shopify app, all store data is deleted within 30 days in accordance with Shopify's data deletion requirements. You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us at the address below.

6. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS. Data at rest is encrypted by our database provider (Supabase). Platform access tokens are stored securely and never exposed to other users. We implement row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data. Our hosting provider (Vercel) and DNS provider (Cloudflare) provide additional infrastructure-level security.

7. Third-Party Services

LoraMer integrates with these third-party services:

  • Anthropic Claude AI — analytics data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate insights. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed by Claude. Anthropic does not use Claude API data for training. We do not send personally identifiable customer data to Claude.
  • Mailchimp — handles waitlist email delivery for loramer.com.
  • Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, Shopify APIs — accessed via OAuth with your authorization.
  • Supabase — our database provider, hosted on AWS.
  • Vercel — our hosting provider.
  • Cloudflare — our DNS and CDN provider.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you or your connected accounts
  • Request deletion of your data at any time
  • Unsubscribe from our waitlist emails (one click from any email we send)
  • Disconnect any platform integration at any time, which immediately revokes our access
  • Export your client profile and conversation data upon request

To exercise any of these rights, contact russ@cotemedia.com.

9. Shopify Merchant Data

For merchants using LoraMer via the Shopify App Store:

  • We process only the data scopes you authorize during installation
  • We respect Shopify's mandatory data deletion webhooks. Upon receiving a shop/redact webhook, all store data is deleted within 30 days
  • We do not use merchant or customer data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing analytics to the merchant
  • Customer data accessed through Shopify is used only in aggregate form for analytics (e.g. "142 new customers this month") and is never shared with third parties

10. GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM Compliance

LoraMer is committed to compliance with applicable data protection and email marketing regulations, including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), CAN-SPAM (US), and CASL (Canada). For our application data, we act as a data processor on behalf of our users (merchants and agencies), who are the data controllers for their customer data. For waitlist sign-ups, we act as a data controller and process emails based on your explicit consent. We do not sell personal data. We do not use personal data for automated decision-making that would have legal or significant effects on individuals.

11. Children's Privacy

LoraMer is intended for use by businesses and agencies, not by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
